Our 2008 program will be an adventure in listening and being listened to and provide a unique opportunity to experience new levels of communication. 

We believe our Program is one of the best to learn from and to benefit from the interactive experience, developed by Carl Rogers. Thousands from all over the world have participated in The La Jolla Program, peoples of different races, religions, cultures, ages and genders, have come together to experience being human. How is this so? By allowing participants to develop the agenda from their own issues within the experience of the Program, thus allowing for meaningful self-expression and an opportunity to know and be known by another person. The La Jolla Program facilitators are skilled at encouraging and modeling effective communication which can lead to positive growth, more trust and understanding of self and others.

In this supportive environment people can listen and be listened to, feel affirmed for just being themselves as they interact with people who bring different customs, thoughts, values and aspirations to the conversation and perhaps surprisingly, they will learn more about themselves and, much, much more.
